Hands-In Presents: On Stage With Josh

Deaf actor and translation wiz, Joshua Castille, most known for his starring role in Spring Awakening on Broadway and his viral translation of Hamilton's "Satisfied," makes his ROCHESTER DEBUT with his one-man cabaret show (directed by the powerful Jules Dameron), packed to the brim with Broadway songs in American Sign Language. Castille has tackled huge projects since taking the Broadway stage in 2015 such as Quasimodo in

the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Romeo in Shakespeare's classic, Romeo & Juliet. Josh has taken the world on by storm through his translations of music and dramatic works in ASL.


Come experience the, "one man Broadway show" in ON STAGE WITH JOSH! Be ready for a night full of gender-breaking and entertaining songs that will make you love music in an entirely different way. Interpreters are provided. Interpreters are eligible to receive 0.13 RID CEUs (additional cost applies).

Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical

Matilda is a little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence and psychokinetic powers. She's unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Over the course of her first term at school, Matilda and Miss Honey have a profound effect on each other's lives, as Miss Honey begins not only to recognize but also appreciate Matilda's extraordinary personality. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however – the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull,

hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness, and could be the school pupils' saving grace!
